I'd say it's one of the best TV shows ever made. Great acting, great writing throughout the show.

Also, they're MINERALS Marie!

Seen the show from start to finish at least 4 times already. Best show ever made, close with Game of Thrones right till season 8 LOL.

The scene where Walter watch's Jane OD and die with Jesse passed out right there was one of the most brutal things I've ever watched.

For me,that would be Game of Thrones where the mountain smashs that guys head in. Negan going ham on Glens head was a close.

I was briefly involved with a girl who had that same problem if you follow me. She had serious issues that I couldn't fix.

:(

Loved her at the time though ... watching that scene in Breaking Bad was tough.

Negan going ham on Glens head

And yeah I know ... hate to say it but I couldn't watch Walking Dead after that.

EDIT: Still havnt watched Game of Thrones ... yeah I'm the one lol.

Sorry to hear, and yeah it seems like Glens deal what was has stopped many people from going forward. Every other walking dead watcher tells me the same thing. The movie for Breaking Bad was pretty alright too, being a Netflix original kinda was meh but oh well.

You're the lucky one, GOT jumped the shark long before season 8. For the people paying attention it started in season 5 when they ran out of books to use as source material. That's when the viewers who followed the story rather than the boobs got increasingly frustrated, but kept watching hoping it would turn around. Instead it just spiraled slowly down the drain getting dumber and dumber with each passing episode.

Better late then never?

One of my all-time favorite series ... not least of all because they knew when to end it!

Not if Cranston had his way-he wanted to keep going. I think it's also because he didn't really "get" at that point that he was the real villain in the show....which pretty much made him perfect.

OP: Better Call Saul is also great and you should start that, at least some time after BB. Maybe not right away, though. ....I'm starting to think that it's actually better than BB at this point. It is so very good.

Yeah, I wouldn't bother at this point. It is actually quite good for those earlier seasons, but it spirals into shittiness pretty dramatically. It kind of makes you angry how stupid it gets.

GoT is still worth it IMO, but just don't expect that great of an ending. Like, it's not so bad that you should just not watch it, it's just that it's disappointing. The show itself was so well made from the cinimatics, acting, music, pretty much everyone in the production team nailed it. But season 8 just felt so rushed by the writers to end the story abruptly and was a crap storyline.

They aren't finished, and likely never will be. ....so there's that problem to deal with.

Thanks ... I have book one in-hand but maybe I'd be better off just skipping the whole thing?

Ending a good series properly is apparently by far the hardest part IME with that kind of thing!

Better Call Saul is also great

I lost it with this show ... watched season 1 and enjoyed it for the most part but just never went back.

How come you didn't notice all the same shit was happening the previous three years? Game of Thrones went off the rails three full seasons before that. It went from being on track to become one of the greatest achievements in TV history to a running joke of rants about what went wrong starting in season 5. The second they got ahead of the books it all went more apeshit than Pat Boone doing covers of heavy metal songs.

I sorta did see it dwindle, just the 8th season did it for me. I heard a story that the people working on this were helping with the Star Wars movie and that us why it got rushed those last few seasons. Not sure the truth in those claims, but if so fuck Disney. It certainly was rushed, yeah you're right it was a damn masterpiece and boom turn to shit.
