Hyundai v Bridge Wreckage pics

Feel kinda bad for the truck diver that didnt notice the hight of the machine-height of bridge for it did some seriouse MO FO damage and isnt going to be a quick patch job. He can forget about his job, and the insurance is going to be flipping mad as hell.

wow.

I clipped a bridge one time, but it just scratched it and broke a hydraulic line on the machine.
I was working on I-5 at night, and did not fold up the machine the exact same way one time. It turns out I had been skating by this bridge by inches.:Q
That is like WTF mate?

Happened < 100 miles from me. I've got a bunch of the pics, very impressive. The dude made a few mistakes: He didn't have permits for oversize load on the interstate (I-70), which he also wouldn't have gotten had he applied, lol.

He also didn't have the boom chained down. And yes, they had to rebuild the bridge 🙂

Something almost exactly like that happened in the Pheonix Metro area on one of our interstates a few years back. I remember my folks talking about it, and finding it amusing.

That guy can forget about being a truck driver.

Not me...How the hell anyone could be so STUPID as to think that would fit under ANY bridge is beyond me...In almost every state, 13'-6" is the max height for trucks, with only a few exceptions, UNLESS you have a specific transport permit to haul an oversized load.
This guy definitely needs to get his walking papers...
