well, i applaud their radical approach, but judging from the responses here, seems the engineer's efforts aren't appreciated. well, at least it's a small step in the right direction.

Uh, ok? Putting recycled plastic to a new use isn't a good thing? That is the key, not the savings in fuel (which they tacked on for some extra exposure with the current gas-focused media).

I actually think it looks ok. The front grill could use some work, but its not that bad (I really don't see how you can say its any worse than a lot of the other concept cars that are designed). Obviously it won't actually be made (especially not anytime soon).

I love how some of you are apparently automotive engineers and think that it won't be safe. They only shaved 130lbs off compared to using metal and glass. Really using plastic for some of the body panels would make sense as cars strength and safety comes from its frame not the body panels.
