Hyundai L90 vs. Viewsonic vp191

Hi all, new to the forums, this is my first post. I finally got rid of my crappy Dell inspiron 5150 and will be building a new rig soon. I plan to game on it often and watch movies. For space saving reasons, I'm going with an LCD screen(college dorm). Anyway, for the past 2 years I've been gamin on my laptop and have not noticed any kind of ghosting or bad image quality. I'm trying to decide between a Hyundai L90 and a Viewsonic vp191b, the main reason I'd go with the Hyundai is price. Now, a couple questions.

1. Does anyone have detailed specs on the kind of screen Dell uses in their laptops(is it a TN panel, what is the response time and brightness, etc)?
2. Would both of the monitors I'm looking into be superior to the laptop screen(I'm assuming yes, but doesn't hurt to ask)? Does anybody have one of these monitors and a laptop that can give me a comparison? Like I said I never noticed any ghosting or twinkling on my laptop, assuming that these LCDs are higher quality, will I notice it on them?

Both of these monitors will give better performance than the one in your laptop. I'm considering the vp191b myself. It's just as fast as the Hyundai for gaming and will perform better overall. I'll keep whichever monitor I buy for at least three years so in my case it's worth it to spend a few extra bucks to get a quality monitor.

Within the next month I'll make my purchase. It'll either be the Dell 2005fpw if it ever gets below the $400 price point again. If not, then my next choice is the Viewsonic VP191b. I'm waiting for that one to hit a bricks&mortar store.
