WTH with the lower, outer part of the maxima's headlight??!!

i kinda dig that...

and whao, there's a continental divide between haters and lovers of the new maxi...
and you know what, it does look like the new Accord.

I'm not in love with the design of either of them, but I don't think either is ugly. I think the Genesis Coupe could definitely use a slight tweaking of the front end, but the Maxima is OK as is. Either way, I think the Genesis Coupe will be a good seller, certainly more than the Tiburon ever was.

I like this style Maxima the best.

The Genesis looks nice, but I don't think I can bring myself to paying more than $25K for a Hyundai; not yet at least.
That's what I drive 🙂 I do like it. I don't really give a damn about cars anymore and looking at the pics of the 9th gen max actually interest me so little that I don't have an opinion on them. Oh well!

Everyone needs to keep in mind that yes I do have some bias in here but please read this anyway and decide for yourself.

When I first saw some pics of the Maxima awhile back I felt the same way as a lot of you. But let me be the first to say that pictures just do not do this car justice. I have seen it in person from all angles, up close and far away. I have sat in the driver's seat and the passenger seat. (Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to drive it yet, hopefully in a month).

Seriously, give this car a chance and look at it in person when you get a chance. You don't get a sense of depth from the pictures I've seen floating around and the front end is so much cooler in person than any pic you can dig up on the internet.

I see your location - do you work for Nissan? My sister just got a job there.
