So, the Korean President is currently riding around in a Mercedes S600 and now he's going to be riding around in a Hyundai? Wow...that's quite a step down.

So it's like the Genesis (a Hyundai that looks like a Lexus LS)? Except now it's a Hyundai that looks like an S-class?

truthfully, it does resemble a funeral vehicle. yes, GM pissed me off by producing poor cars that reduce competition in america which keeps prices high (in a normal S/D model)

Man!! If you think that about America.........come visit India sometime, the "cheap" 03 Hyundai Elantra I drive here in the US, used to cost almost $21,000 and was considered a luxury vehicle before it got discontinued last year. Mostly because of very few choices we still have there, before 1985 we literally had 2 cars to choose from. You seriously don't know how good you have it here, heck gas is still $3.8/gallon over in India.

I am sure we can get into a debate about taxes, yada yada but fact is that the US is one of few places in the world that, cars are plentiful, there are lots of choices, gas is quite cheap and the inter-state system is awesome. Grass might be greener other places..........errr NO.

BTW I am not attacking you, I just had to reply to that competition comment

OP: The topic sounded to me like Hyundai has finally decided to build cars that never break down

The car pictured is probably the unarmored luxury version, the armored version will probably look a lot chunkier.
Anyway, this car is bullet-proof, the US presidential limo is RPG-proof... that's a huge difference in armor thickness.

Man, the presidental caddie is nuts. If you ask me, 8mpg is actually pretty good considering what it is. It doesn't even need tires to drive? I suppose it is a tank.

LOL, I thought this too.

From what I read, their quality has improved drastically over the past few years though.
