Hyundai Azera: looks pretty good.

A mechanic friend of ours says the sonata depreciates in value much too fast compared to an accord. Not only in the resale price but just in the overall condition of the car. Eh, give it time i guess/. Driving a luxury hyundai is still a bit of an oxymoron at this point

yeah, I totally agree..

well, just give Hyundai some more time.

yea you i might just end up in this car. Im sick of companies make consumers pay 30gs and up for a good card with allot of features. The damm cost of a new civic is just plan sick.

🙁

Yup. The current Sonatas are quite nice. And the reliability in recent years seems dramatically improved over the Hyundais of 10+ years ago.

Definitely a nice car...just not something I'd be interested in anytime soon. The features to cost ratio make it a fantastic purchase if you are planning on holding on to it for a long time.

I have this theory that Hyundai would significantly increase their sales if they dropped the "Hyundai" name and rebranded it with a new name. It's such an ugly name...and that "H" is so damn fugly.

i don't like how honda changed their accord rear end to the new styling, and hyundai is now using something very very similar to the old style on the sonata/azera... 🙁

i sat in one, wasnt that impressed.

It looks okay from the outside and has a decent engine, but the interior is just too cheap in comparision to the other cars in the class.

its not so much as its ugly. its "hyundai" for years ment a cheap crappy car. But since areound 2001 they have started producing very nice cars. the relibility on them is great.

To bad the re-sale value is still crap. but that just means you can get a good cheap car. just do not plan on tradeing it in heh.

but i agree if they changed names they might do better. but who knows.

It's sad to say this, but GM needs to take a page from Hyundai's book. Hyundai realized they need better interiors, more powerful engines and better overall ride quality and they addressed it (well, they're addressing it), yet GM just keeps up with the same old crap.

They can't afford money on good parts. The union sucks them dry. Union employees also tend to be lazy and sub-par to market.
