From what I could tell, the sedan has a $1000 rebate and the hatch a $500 rebate.

Invoice is almost MSRP so not a lot of wiggle room, just a $450 difference. I also think the resale value on a Versa will be much better than anything but the Yaris & Fit.

6spd on the Hwy should give some impressive mileage as well!

Well I'm enjoying my Versa, just had new rims put on with the summer tires today :)
Unfortunately the wife gets to drive it more cause she does more driving
Most average about 30-32 combined city/hw
Lots of complaints about CVT mileage with city driving, but I have the 4 speed I avg 32 with 80/20 HW/City split

OP, if you're not in a terrible rush to buy a car and seem to like the Hyundai warranty, perhaps try and wait for the Hyundai Elantra Touring (i30 in europe) which is supposed to come out later this year.

Elantra is a little pricey for me :/ and if it drives anything close the Accent then it wouldn't be for me.

Yeah dude, if you plan on keeping it till the wheels fall off then go with the Hyundai. Good features for the money. Just lousy resale value.

For me though...I think the FIT is AWESOME...so cool and unique. And I drive a 2008 R32. :D

I'm planning on getting the Versa, it's just a nicer drive and I think for the little amount more it's going to cost, it will be worth it in the long run. The Versa is a lot more roomy, it comes with PL/PW, and its safety rating is much higher. All in all, I think it's just a better vehicle which is why I'm leaning towards it now more than ever.
