Hyrule Warriors

What the HECK is this? I am NOT happy if this is our next "full" Zelda game:

If it's just a side game they want to put out... I guess... but WHAT THE HECK??

EDIT:

WHEW:

It should be clarified that Nintendo has come out and said this is not the next-gen Wii U Zelda title that’s taking so long to develop. This is a spin-off project, and those expecting a lengthy, deep Zelda experience may be disappointed.

Just like Wind Waker HD was made because they have no Zelda game, this is the same thing. While it does look fun, this just screams put Zelda in it so Zelda fans will stop crying.

This is a Zelda spinoff, like the archery game on the Wii. Cool your jets. It certainly not 'Wii U Zelda' by any means.

It isn't even made by Nintendo.

It does look pretty crappy, though.

Yep...I've almost given up on Nintendo. They literally have no clue at this point, that they should have had a real Zelda game out in year one.

Well, that was certainly a horrifying display of wasted development efforts. Sure wiped the smile straight off my face, when I took a look at it.

It's just not even a good spinoff game. It's like an attempt to ruin the series!

Put Link back in a Smash Bros game!

I had a chance for the shock to wear off a little.

Seems like an obvious Tecmo Koei spinoff, and the Dynasty Warriors fans are fairly excited over it.... I have to admit that it would be fun to play as some of the Zelda characters, like Sheik, in this sort of game...

So, I'm back to grinning. My immediate reaction was definitely negative, but thinking about it, the game should turn out to be a fun idea.

Ya'll freakin out too much.

It's from the people who make Dynasty Warriors, so it's technically a 3rd party game with 1st party IP

IMO it looks like it could be really good.

And no, it's NOT the next "Zelda game".

Should be a fun distraction. def a rental though. This next gen Zelda must be legit for it to be taking this long without even a screen shot.

Of all the Zelda spinoffs they could possibly make they're making one based off the gameplay of Dynasty Warriors? Seriously who even likes Dynasty warriors (aside from Jim Sterling)?

Kind of what I was thinking. I only played one for PS2 but it felt like mindless button mashing and killing an endless sea of bad guys, not too fun for Zelda-like at all haha.

I like Dynasty Warriors. 🙁

Although, I think the spin-offs are usually the better game since even though the formula doesn't change, everything else does. My favorite is probably the Gundam variant, but they milked that with three separate releases.

I've also got the Shin Hokuto no Ken and One Piece Musou games. The latter was actually on sale on PSN (and only available as a digital release) last week.
