Let's say someone flew to the US from Canada, they were only suppose to stay two days but ended up staying 6 months. If this person flies back to Canada and then tries to fly back into the USA would any red flags be raised. Would the customs computer alert that the person never took the return flight?
 
Hypothetically, it would be a good idea for that person to contact customs/INS to find out what they should do.
