Hypothetical Question: Conjoined Twin commits A Murder

Okay here is the scenario, you have two twins conjoined at the head with two brains that they both share. It is medically possible to separate them if needed, but they haven't decided to do so. One of the twins commits murder, it is clear that her hand alone pulled the trigger. Is the other twin responsible for the murder as well? Would they send both the twins to jail or try to separate them. Your thoughts/pollleee voting are appreciated.

I read an article not too long ago about this, I guess they can be legally separated, then the killer one can go to the big house.

well it would hard the the 1st twin to get the gun and get to the place in the first place, because the other twin would know they wanted to commit murder and try stop the other by running in an opposite direction etc.

tho, im not sure how to answer the question, its technically impossible to separate them like you said but only 1 is responsible.
