If you have dual citizenship (US and somewhere else) and the US instigates the draft again, under what circumstances, if any, would you be required to join?
If you skipped to your other country after being called up (if you were) would it have any repercussions for your US citizenship?

Anyone know?

(All hypothetical, this has nothing to do with the US reintroducing the draft, or anything to do with arguments about being holding dual nationalities).

Yeah, heroes get daddy to put them in the reserve or just seek deferments because they merely have "different priorities than military service."

(derailment didn't take long, did it?"

Being in the reserves wouldn't help right now anyways. The draft won't happen. Our military couldn't handle adding a million men to the services right now.
