You're on to something there. I'm disgusted with people who don't want to get vaccinated and refuse to wear masks to the point where I'm all for all of them just dropping dead. The intelligence average of humanity will increase greatly. We'll probably never again see anyone on Wheel Of Fortune choose a consonant instead of a vowel on a free play or add the word 'and' to a crossword puzzle.

Yes, if >90% of us got the vax, the disease would likely be stopped the way we stopped numerous other diseases. However, the devil himself could not design a better vaccination-busting scenario than 50% vaccinated and 50% stupid.

Are we sure it’s the devil? I’m pretty sure the conservative religious community says it’s god punishing sinners when a disease strikes a certain minority (like they did with AIDS and the gay community in the 80’s).

I mean the risk of death of children 0-17 who contract COVID is 1 in 105000

For adults 50+ it’s a 1 in 270 risk of death.

For the vaccinated it’s 1 in 25000

COVID is almost singularly killing the unvaccinated which are almost entirely conservatives. So if we are ascribing this pandemic to biblical causes isn’t God punishing the sinners?

Without widespread vaccinations, mask usage and distancing Delta is eventually going to infect everyone not vaccinated. It’s almost like the biblical story of Passover. The vaccine is the lambs blood the Jews put above their doors so the angel of death would pass them by.

That all sounds great but the fact is that the vaccinated are still getting infected and every vaccinated individual that gets infected is one more chance for the virus to find a mutation that is much more efficient at infecting and killing the vaccinated.
