Does anyone know if the i845g mobo of Epox's 4g4a is the "A" stepping??? Its appears from anandtech's article that i845g mobo support HT except for A stepping chips that may ave been placed in some i845g mobos.....

Just wondering...Likely will have a new GB mobo before I get an HT enabled chip anyways....

i also just read somewhere that the P4B533 also supports 3ghz?

i dont see how with only a 2 phase voltage regulator......
(maybe it can barely support it at default voltage)

That is all right...I assume I will be running a granite bay duall ddr mobo before I cough up cash to get a HT chip...

I am definitely not buying another mobo regardless until GB...

That is my plan as well, if I'm going to upgrade my P4 rig it may as well be worthwhile.

That's why I sold my 1.6A/4G4A+ setup. I will go back when I can get 3ghz+, Dual Channel DDR, and HT...🙂

I sent Mr. Kyle an email asking him to do the UT Disc 1 / WinZip 8.1 Maximum benchmark on it. Recall that this is where PC1066 ownz like crazy.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!

You mean my uber expensive stupid assed Epox board doesn't support HT?! AAAGH!!! AAAAAHGGGHHHGGHHHHH!!!!

*runs off screaming*

DAMN YOU EPOX!
