HyperThreading BIOS question

I have an MSI 865PE Neo-2Platinum board that supports p4 with HT technology

the thing is, when i check the BIOS it says HyperThreading function is disabled... should that be enabled?

Yes. Switch it over to Enabled to turn on HT, otherwise it doesn't function.

Some boards have HT off by default; Dell ships many of their P4's with HT off by default, too (it's a selectable option).

Just switch it to 'enabled' and it should work fine.
