Hyperthreading and Win XP... 2 CPU's???

Hi there,

I just built a new PC last week...It has a P4 2.6ghz 800mhz fsb, hyperthreading CPU....and a 865PERL board.

Windows XP detects 2 CPU's (of the same exact type). I learned today that its because of hyperthreading. Because I didn't know that, yesterday I uninstalled one of them. But it came right back when I booted up. Anything to be alarmed about?

You see 2 CPU's=everything is hunkey dorey. Leave it alone.
