Doesnt really matter. I will still use VMware workstation because it is a far superior product.
 
Um, agreed.

However, by bundling it with Windows VIII and being essentially free we have the 'IE effect'.

I'm more curious if we have the potential of managing the hypervisor in some sort of VDI role, which really might be Microsoft's intent.
 
I also agree that vmware is better, but i think it's a great option since it is built in for testing or some stuff that is not so important.
 
Wow... bundling Hyper V with Windows 8? I guess that they aren't afraid of the Antitrust lawyers anymore.

While they're at it, I'm surprised that Microsoft doesn't start bundling Microsoft Security Essentials with Windows 8 as well.
