I have a Gigabyte EP45-UD3P motherboard with 8 gigs of ram. My OS is Windows Server 2008 R2. I want to enable Hyper-V and I would like to know if there are specific settings in the bios I should enable/disable to make it run efficiently.

Thanks in advance.

You need to enable intel virtual machine technology, probably labled Intel VT-d or something to that effect.

That's basically it - you may get a performance boost out of enabling ACHI too.

Unless millions are at stake, I wouldn't bother reading those dump files.

They are a PITA to deal with and only a high level $pecialist would be able to make sense of it
