Hyper Thread and Hyper Transport

I've read about hyper threading and hyper transport. Does AMD support Hyper Threading, or do they just have Hyper Transport? I don't think i've seen any AMD chip that mentioned Hyper Threading.

Also, if an AMD chip supports Hyper Transport of 2000MHz, doesn't that mean that's the FSB speed also? So if the mobo you get supports only 1000MHz FSB, then you're not using the CPU to the fullest?

 
first the nasty: u need to do some research... all this is easily available info...

second the quickie: hyperthreading is an intel thing that makes one core look like 2... hypertransport is AMD's bus architecture...

and the ht speed is linked to the 'fsb' on a64, but not 1:1... it is a multiple of the 'fsb'...
