Hyper 212+ with only a pull fan okay?

I recently upgraded to 16GB on my Intel DP67BG motherboard. It's the Corsair Vegeance DDR3-1600 16GB (4x4GB) kit with the tall heatsinks. Problem is that my Hyper 212+'s fan covers the 1st DIMM slot on my motherboard and does not give enough clearance for the 1st DIMM slot for my memory because of the tall heatsinks on my memory. A workaround was to remove the fan from the front of the heatsink and use it as a pull fan at the back of the heatsink so it is pulling air from the heatsink. Now my 1st memory slot has full clearance for my memory. CPU temps are still much cooler than the stock fan. Core temps are in the low-mid 30's C during idle and upper 50's - 60 C during full load during the Intel Extreme Tools CPU stress test. Is it fine the way I did it I setup my Hyper 212+?

I faced the same dilemma and ended up picking up a low profile fan that wouldn't block DIMMs. Temps were much lower with push/pull, even though one was a slow/low profile fan.

The fan mount just clips onto the heatsink. It's possible to just mount the fan higher up on that side of the cooler. Just gotta make sure the clips grab enough of the fins to keep it secure. Think you can get about a 1/2" or so of clearance by doing this. Would be better push/pull or push. Will keep the memory cooler also :)
