Question Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition RGB header extensions (Help)

Hi I was wondering how long the RGB Header for the Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition is. I would like to have the RGB header cable to run behind the motherboard instead of through the inside of the case. Can anyone help?

Can't you buy RGB Header extensions? I did read online that you are not supposed to use the extension as first connection to the motherboard. Is there anything wrong with doing that? That's kinda what i wanted to do.

The motherboard will be a Gigabyte Aorus Pro by the way.

Something like this would work right? But I read is not a good idea to connect the extension directly to the Motherboard? any reason why?

it seems the RGB function is controlled by the controller it comes with.
It says its asrock polychrome compatible, but i have very little knowledge working with that.
I would assume there is a type of extension, however im fairly sure Coolermaster would provide you with a cable long enough to reach the said port for your asrock polychrome header.

I didn't have time to update the thread but I was looking through my Z390 box and found an RGB header extension! so I am set to go.
