Hynix may merge with Seagate

Hynix is expected to set up a joint company with U.S.-based data storage company Seagate.
Seagate gets 49% and Hynix gets 51%.
 
Title is misleading.
The two companies will NOT merge together, they with form a joint venture dedicated to developing SSDs for enterprise servers and data centers.
