"HydraVision" is ATI's ability to have DUAL DISPLAYS. You can only do this if your ATI card has at least two of the following:

VGA out
TV out
DVI out

Pick any two and you have dual independent video outputs. This is part of the ATI driver package. ;) Free download from ATI.com if you didn't get a driver disc with your 9500.

It's also the name of the software they aquired from Appian. In any case, the 9500 Pro has the requisite dual RAMDACS and comes with the software and can be downloaded from ATI, as said.

Hydravision isn't required for dual display support, it enhances the functionality. It is also a virtual desktop mananger and offers some GUI effects. Dual RAMDAC are not required for some functionality, and it is a free download from ATI as stated.
