Interface needs: USB, Firewire, or ExpressCard.

Input needs: Coaxial (more is a plus but really only need coax)

Tuner support: (ATSC, NTSC, ClearQAM)

OS support: Windows XP Home, Pro, Vista Home Premium and Ultimate (64 bit Vista support is a must)

It doesn't need a remote, and doesn't need hardware encoding (I encode any important stuff later at my own discretion, dont need h.264 live encoding or anything like that, a simple MPEG 2 container is fine as long as it is high bitrate.)

What do you guys recommend? I was thinking this one but are there any that do the job better for the price?

Thanks in advance.

If you can add "ethernet" to the interface needs section, the Silicondust HDHomeRun is easily your best bet.

That would actually be a great selection erwos but I'm afraid it's a bit over my budget, but easily my #1 pick as well.

Since I couldn't swing that, I found a friend on campus with a DViCO FusionHDTV7 USB he was willing to sell for $50! I feel like I won :D

It's so pretty and pink

Thanks a lot all!
