Hybrid 3.5 Hard Drives

wow, thats actually an awesome product silverstone has going there. if i didnt already have a 256gb SSD with plans to get another 120 for additional SSD capacity when t he G3 intels launch i would consider something like this, but as im a raw performance junky as it is, this isnt really for me, at least just yet. the $50 pricetag on top of an SSD makes me think that i could just buy a more expensive SSD with more capacity for about the same amount (if not a little more), and then have all the high performance storage capacity i need. the only reason this makes sense is if you dont want to reinstall your OS for some reason

Yep: Very interesting concept.

I have a Small form factor computer with no room for a second drive. I will wait and hope for a 3.5 Hybrid hard Drive

if 3 x 4gb sticks are $129 - wouldn't it make more sense do to the hybrid ram/ssd or ram/hdd? just saying. ram is dirt cheap these days. fry's corsair
