HX750 Regrets

Hi everyone, I recently ordered an HX750 from Newegg. It hasn't arrived yet but now I am reading a lot of reviews about a fan controller problem, that it goes max fan speed in 5-10 minute bursts with chirping sounds.

I am now not sure what to do. Newegg has a Seasonic X650 on sale today:

Should I return the HX750 as soon as I get it or keep it? Is the Seasonic better with fan control? I'm worried about the restocking fee that newegg charges. 15% on over $100 is not easy to swallow.
 
Never had any problems with fan control X650, so I can vouch for that. $80 AR AP for that unit is a very nice deal, if you want peace of mind and don't mind the 100W lower specs, go ahead and swap to the Seasonic

Thank you for the help. Just ordered the Seasonic. I usuallly order Antec, but on a budget. :wub:

This may be untrue, but reading the Newegg comments it seems some people mention that the Seasonic can actually give more power 100-200 watts more at load?
