HX series PSU in a 700D/800D?

So I just cracked open my new 700d. Everything is just about as nice as I had hoped but it seems that my PC Power and Cooling 510w PSU's main power connectors is too short to route behind the back of the case.

I was thinking about getting a new PSU...an HX series. Has anyone used one with a 700D? I don't want another short main power cable.

Main power connector? Maybe you can find an extension in here:

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_s...field-keywords=nzxt+extension&sprefix=nzxt+ex

I have the HX1000w, and all the cables were long enough to route through the grommets to where they needed to go. Only ones that were kind of short were the double 8-pin mobo connectors needed for the evga classified, but they did reach.

I use all those extensions anyway though, look 10x better.

Not as good as sleeving yourself, but close enough for taking 5 minutes to install.

+1 for the NZXT extension cables. They get pricey if you want to buy a bunch of them (24 pin main, 8 pin EPS12V, 2x PCI-E, molex, 3 pin fan, etc.), but they're a great way to dress up your case without voiding the warranty on your PSU and taking hours to sleeve everything.

The 700D/800D come with a 4pin / 8pin extender. All other cables should be long enough.

I have an HX850w and an 800D. The only cable that was short was the 8pin and the 800D came with an extender that fit well. No problems. The HX series was designed to fit the 700D/800D.
