Can you guys give me some sited where I can lookup stuff relating to these questions:

Question 38 text Give the formula for the following:

a. potassium chloride
b. barium oxide
c. carbon tetrachloride.


Question 39 text Find the formula mass for AL2S3


Question 40 text

An element has the configuration [He]2s2

a. Which element is it?
b. Is it metal or nonmetal?
c. How many valence (or outer shell) electrons does it have?

dude. no offense, but those are some of the msot basic chemistry questiosn imaginable.

seriosuly. read your book. I can't believe there is a book out there that wouldn't tell you how to figure those out.

ppl are guna flame you for putting up sucha easy question "(relatively easy for ppl that know a lot about chemsitry...maybe not for the layman)".

I say once you get your answer, flip to the last chapter in the book and replace it w/ some really hard question w/ a bucnha stars next to the number and ppl might not give you as much $hit

Im in biology(highschool), and im just trying to do some chemistry on my own with this homeschool packet stuff I got form a home schooled friend, I dont exactly have a book.

Not really stumped, I just figured somone on here would know of some good resources for chemistry students, I just copied a few question to give an example of what im looking at.
