Today, I got a coupon from them for $10 off 75 in the hardware dept, that I don't want. Why do they continually send me that crap!??

I re-ordered a lot of stuff that they cancelled on me last time. Now just sit back and wait for another round of cancellations.
I'm addicted to the adrenaline rush!

Speaking of cancelling. The first bunch of stuff that I ordered from them, half of the was cancelled, and then they send me a email saying that is on the way. I was charge and next thing I know, The UPS was knocking on by door with like 6 big boxes. I order some trim for the door its like 3 inch wide and 3 feet long and they send it in a 3ft by 4th box with a lot of those plastic packaging bags in it. I guess they are trying to get rid of their garbages too.

I received about 25% of the stuff I ordered last time and most of it was big bulky shelving. I couldn't believe how they shipped it. They used a 6'x 12" x 24" box for just one piece of 6' wire shelving and filled the void slap full of those little air bags. There must be 10 dollars worth of those bags in one box alone. Well, by the time I got finished with removing all of my shelving out of the boxes I had about 3 overstuffed lawn trash bags of those critters. I do a little e*bay stuff on the side and it has alread come in handy for shipping to others. A nice bonus since I didn't get all my stuff last time. Not forgetting that the whole order only cost $4.99 for shipping. They must have spent $100 even at their cheaper direct rates with UPS and USPS.

overpackagaging? geez i still say staples is the king of overpackaging. you order one packet of batteries and they'll stuff it in a big box filled with air bubbles. might as well just have the delivery guy hand me the batteries.

Oh yea, your right! I have forgot about those little things you add to an order like a pencil, pen or roll of tape to get your order to the coupon level. They are almost always shipped separately in these humongous boxes!

Good, I need some more packing for my Eb*y stuff <g>

Hope I get most my stuff.

My order included a couple hammers (one is a 20 pound sledge hammer!)
Plus I got a bunch of nails (8 cents or 28 cents a box) & other stuff. I'm sure it's going to cost them ALOT more than the $5.99 they charged me to ship this stuff.

Worst overpackaging I ever received was a box from buy.com which was about 30x16x16 which contained 2 CDRW's, a marking pen and stuffed to the brim with shipping peanuts.
