Story

Which brings up the age old question - Men, when your wife/fiancee/gf comes home, and has diarrhea of the mouth for 30 minutes about every single trivial detail about how crappy their day is, do you actually hear what she is saying? Or do you just put your ears on "record" incase you are quizzed on if you are actually listening and have to repeat what she just said?

Average male review of his day: crappy. good. bad. okay. meh. alright.

Average female review of her day: "You're post has exceeded the maximum number of characters allowed"

:)

Most of the time when girls talk, I find it very difficult to concentrate because it's so incredibly trivial.

Normally my wife's an interesting person to talk to. Once in a while though she goes on and on and on about trivial things. Sometimes it seems like she just keeps repeating the same thing over and over just using different words to see if I'm actually paying attention.

I don't know, my gf is a great to talk to, I enjoy listening to what she has to say, so I never really go into the "record" mode, rather I'm paying attention.

hahaha

"and some person that you don't know brought her baby that you don't care about to work, and it was so cute, and then some guy wanted a discount, but we were out of the item he wanted a discount on, so we had to do a raincheck, and he got so pissed, and then some guy offered to buy me lunch, but then he decided he didnt want lunch"....

my girlfriend's going to read this and then get mad at me.

Nice to be reassured I'm normal (or at least not crazy) sometimes.

Generally women have more words they have to use in the course of a day. Guess what? You are gonna get to help them!!

Just throwing a wild guess...your gf is a member of this forum?

"Saved by the bell, I guess you'd say," Woodman jokingly explained, adding that he used the brief interruption to exit the room and seek solace behind some cardboard boxes in the basement, where he remained for several hours.
I'll have to remember that one!

Added Woodman: "Besides, if something's really important to her, I'll pick up on it right away because she'll be yelling. Then it's time to get involved in what I'm sure she feels is an extremely important conversation."

This sounds like my house

I pay attention. I think I'm the one that sometimes goes on and on about a bad day though. Well, I'd just recount all the happenings of that day but I don't think I repeat anything... :Q
