No shit, Dave. Eventually *ALL* hurricanes fizzle out. 2nd low behind Katia may very well intensify AND hit the US.

My prediction sucked. looking back to the 30th I said 2/3 steady state, which she slowwwwwly ramped up to a 4 then fell apart once even with/north of America's Wang (pisswater). I also said south of Bermuda, and she's threading the needle in the gulfstream.
