The frame looks bent too me. Look at the bed and the cracked winshield.

can some1 with carfax tell me where it was first registered?

Im not looking to buy it. Im just curious.

this is what the dealer sent me in an Email.

Carfax does differentiate between Junk and salvage, certificate of destruction and so on... They call everything Junk. I have infact a salvage title for this truck and do not feel burnt on this deal. I do not see where the back of the truck is bent.

the seller swear the frame is straight, its not, Look at the rust on the skid plate. no 05 should have rust like that.

If you scratch through paint, depending on the type of metal, it will rust VERY quickly. I had somebody back into an old hatchback of mine. It buckled the metal and cracked away the paint. It had rust built up on it in the three weeks that it took me to get an insurance settlement and into the body shop for repair.

If something scraped the paint off of that metal, with as much moisture as in the air down there, it wouldn't take long for that to start rusting.

It's interesting the number of pictures devoted to showing working electrical items. One wouldn't think that a seller would be so interested in displaying a clock ..

Lines from the bed to the cab don't line up. The bed on the driver's side is higher and the passenger side is lower.

And these idiots wonder why it was written off? Surrrrrrrreee.

Note: There should not be any problem bidding on this. It says right in the listing,

BID WITH CONFIDENCE. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

This vehicle comes with a PA Salvage Title

Passenger side door is all fuxored, too. Check out the gap on the bottom in that one pic that shows the ding on the right side. This truck was the subject of discussion over on the Toyota Nation's Tacoma forums. Everyone there seems to think it's either a flood vehicle or it got tweaked really bad somehow. None of the lines are straight on this thing. And there was discussion as to the title status. Think it has a JUNK title on it.

i definitely see where the bed doesn't line up. if it's been flooded though, the interior has been replaced totally because it looks really clean inside. I'm thinking more of an accident rather than flood damage.
