hunting bow < $100?

Does anybody know of a good beginner's hunting bow for less than $100? I'm planning on getting one for my dad but all the stuff I can find online is really expensive.

You shouldn't hunt with bows. It's unfair. Go out there with a knife like a real man.

Real men don't use bows or knives. They use their bare hands, wuss.

I'm only saying that he should become MORE of a man and use a knife. I run down animals and kill them with my bare hands.

My advice is to go to a bow/hunting shop and talk to a salesman there. He'll be able to determine what you need...and you'll need to find out your dad's draw-length or else he won't be able to use it properly.

You'll also be able to pick up a used bow if you buy it in an actual store, and for $100 you'll get something pretty decent. Don't forget the cost of the arrows and other things such as a sight/peephole/string silencers/etc. though.

Even if you were able to find a cheap bow for less than a $100 the cost of the other things add up quick. When I was competing the price of my sight alone was over $100. Personally I would trust a cheap bow even less than a cheap firearm.

Do the animals you hunt have hands? NO. Use your feet like a real man.

Are these hunting bows crossbows or crossless bows? I don't think a crossbow would be as much fun as missing repeatedly with a real bow.
