the chinese places around me were all closed today, except one really disgusting place that I wouldn't get take-out from in a thousand years.

I just sucked it up and cooked some rice that I had laying around for dinner. my landlord pulled through by giving me a bottle of wine for christmas; otherwise I'd have been drinking water with my rice 😉 blandest. meal. ever.
