If you've never heard of this song, find it somehow and listen to it. It has to be the greatest duet ever (with Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder). The song still sounds fresh and amazing to this day. I guess I'm stuck in the past but I still wish music was like it was back in the early 90s.

Chris Cornell + Eddie Vedder = THE BEST!

It's a really good song. I've heard some of the other songs they had and they aren't too great, but Hungerstrike is AWESOME.

Eh, I didn't like this song a few years ago when I heard it, and I still don't like it. It's okay, but it really doesn't do anything for me.

Arguably true. Temple of the Dog was formed to make a tribute album for Andrew Wood of Mother Love Bone, who was Cornell's roommate and died of a heroin overdose. They didn't really split so much as they went back to their real bands.

Edit: Although the song itself *is* a duet.

It's a duet because it's a composition of two voices (as defined by webster's dictionary). They didn't split (not in the traditional sense that a band would anyway)...it was just a tribute to Andy Wood from Mother Love Bone.

Edit - Looks like Strangone beat me to it.

Heh, I remember when stores were getting into the craze of selling flannel at crazy prices to profit off of the grunge era. Curdoroy jackets like the one Eddie wore were going for $400+ (even though he had gotten his for something like $10).

AIC - Right Turn > Hunger Strike. Lane Staley + Chris Cornell > Chis Cornell + Eddie Vedder.

Regardless, that whole album is amazing. Every song on it is excellent. Probably one of my favorite albums of all time.
