Hundreds of Cookies every night? Solved!

I run Superantispyware Pro each night and in the morning there are hundreds of cookies found? This am. there was 382 . Yesterday 400+. Recently I removed a Malwarebytes free trial as well as a HitmanPro trial. I thought I had cleaned everything out, that was found when I ran search. BUT, I wonder if there is still something in Registry that is causing this ?
Anyone have similar problems or have an idea where I should look next?

Block 3rd party cookies via the browser, and the remainder should be manageable. I run firefox, and use the addon cookieautodelete. If I haven't whitelisted a site(very few), its cookie gets deleted on tab close. There's probably something similar for chrome if you use that.

Thanks to all replies. This morning only 14 cookies, not 400 plus. I took your advice and looked in options and now dump cookies and cache on exit of Firefox. Seems have been what was needed. Thanks to all...
