Hummus - wow this stuff is good!!!

I've been on somewhat of a health kick lately now that I'm back to working out more frequently so I decided to pick up something new at the grocery store. First I tried Athenos Hummus and it was ok... but the texture was a bit off. So last night I bought some Sabra Hummus with garlic and damn is this stuff tasty! It's as creamy as peanut butter, the texture is perfect, and the flavor is oh so delicious. Seriously I could have a hummus sandwich with this stuff. Have any of you tried it?

Theres a Hummus place here in nyc, (called Hummus place) on st. marks and 1st ave. best. hummus. EVAR. service sucks, but at least the hummus rocks.

I love hummus!

Try the roasted red pepper hummus, it's awesome.

I saw that. By Sabra? Also I heard some great reviews on the pine nut hummus.
Yeah, just about every brand has one. I don't remember the brand I had last night. Pine nut sounds good, I usually roast some pine nuts and almond slivers and put them in my couscous (along with orange juice & garlic).

I bought hummus once, probably Athenos. It bordered on distasteful and I never ate more than an ounce or two.

Athenos is cheap. Try Sabra - seriously a completely different league of texture and taste.
