I have acquired a humidor complete with the little humidifying thingee inside. I have some cigars to put in there; the cigars came wrapped in individual cellophane sleeves. Do you take the cigars out of said sleeves or leave them in?

ps
I already asked Monica...she didn't know. ;)

Yep. I'm a cigar guy and you definitely should take them out. Let them soak up the nice humidity in the humidor and be happy. The wrappers could conceivably trap condensation on the cigars and make them funky.

Partagas, Arturo Fuente, and Hoyo de Monterrey (preferably the cuban version) are my weapons of choice on the relatively rare occasion that I indulge in a nice stogie. :D
