I've always heard that high humidity can damage electronic devices, but I'm wondering how it damages them and at what point is it considered "dangerous"? Earlier today the outside humidity was 100%. The dewpoint has been near 70 most of the day. So how big of a threat is humidity to electronics?

Condensation, moisture on metal contacts. If you're worried about something get some CorrosionX.

Do you not run AC? Humidity is high here too, but it's not really been a problem.

A lot of products are spec'ed at a maximum of 80% humidity, noncondensing.
