Missed Guacamelee on the Steam Sale; for those who have it, how are the keyboard/mouse controls?

I'm RIGHT on the fence here. Monaco looks neat, but I have to see if I can get my cousin to jump on it as well so I have someone to play with. That I can get that $15 game for under $5 is a good deal.

However, the rest doesn't really interest me. Antichamber looks pretty neat. The rest, it's just platforming in different scenarios, and I'm admittedly not the biggest platformer fan. I wish they'd have put a second multiplayer game in there, though that could come next week...

On the plus side, none are Early Access.

How can you be on the fence for something you name your own price?

The rest, it's just platforming in different scenarios, and I'm admittedly not the biggest platformer fan.

Im not a big platformer fan, i've played a bunch of them and let me tell you, Guacamelee and Dust are GREAT ones, they are more brawlers than just platforming (although guacamelee has some very interesting and hard platforming sections), Giana Sisters is hard as hell, it looks so nice, but its gonna make you rage quite a bit. Swapper i didnt play but some friends that did play it told me that its good and the puzzle solving mechanic is neat

If you were a big platformer fan you would play the ones that are not that good, but everyone should play the best of the best!

I wish they'd have put a second multiplayer game in there, though that could come next week...

guacamelee has local coop mode if you are interested.

And i have this hunch that one of the bonus BTA games will be Rogue Legacy, i feel it in my guts!

but anyway, you cant go wrong with this bundle. In fact i think that the non-bta games are way better than the BTA ones

How can you be on the fence for something you name your own price?

Is it really that hard to figure out?

1. The only game I really want here is Monaco.
2. Monaco is behind the $4.50 barrier, so it's not quite "name your own price"
3. Monaco doesn't have a demo on Steam, so I can't see how much I like it.
4. I want Monaco as a co-op game, so I need to get my cousin or a friend to get it as well.

So, to recap, I can't play a demo of Monaco to see if it's good, let alone worth recommending to another friend for this bundle. It's only $4.50, but I'm also one who is always hesitant to spend money, especially when I have a lot of games to play as it is. I'd rather not buy this bundle for one game, then find out I don't even like that one game.

Well, it's a little bit of an understatement to say I'm not a big platformer person, I guess. What it really boils down to is that platformers bore me. The exception is the co-op in Super Mario Bros. on the Wii, because playing that with my sister and her husband can be entertaining. My cousin has Guacamelee! already on Steam, and it'd be cool to co-op that with him, though I guess we could do that locally.

I'm not sure what Rogue Legacy is, I'll have to take a look and see if it's something I'd like. I've seen that the platformers all have high ratings on Steam/Metacritic (I think that's where Steam pulls its ratings from), but Antichamber and Monaco are personally the ones which interest me the most.

Yeah, I went ahead and got it with my cousin. Played Monaco for an hour or so last night, and it's pretty awesome.

No dice on the prediction.

Fez
Starseed Pilgrim

Beatbuddy: Tale of the Guardians

Those are your bonus games, folks. Regrettably, more platforming I don't really care about, but they're free, and I will probably have a mild amount of fun playing them someday. I was disappointed by Beatbuddy though, because the title initially gave me hope for a game built on my music library, like Audiosurf or Beat Hazard.

beatbuddy looks nice but im not attracted to its idea, i saw a bit of it... kinda meh
