Quite surprised to see Psychonauts on here, I thought that came out some years ago as a Commercial title from one of the bigger publishers.


They added Braid, Lone Survivor, and Super Meat Boy.

That's a pretty amazing series of games. I can vouch for Bastion and Psychonauts at least, Limbo/Amnesia I couldn't get into but are both highly regarded, and I bought Superbrothers on it's own, havent played it yet though.
 
Bastion is awesome, Limbo is a quick weekend game that's more of an artistic expression. Still good, but there's no replay value.

This is one of the best damn bundles I've seen in a long time. Every single one of those games is stellar.

The only reason I'm not buying it is because I already bought them all a long time ago.

It should be essential to have Bastion, Amnesia, and Limbo in your library. If you don't, then what are you waiting for?

Yeah, this is the best of the Indie Bundlers, only one from these guys I haven't picked up and that's because I had them all already.

I already played Superbrothers on my ipad last year, but I bought the bundle anyway (incl Bastion.) Great list of games, plus we get the soundtrack as a bonus! Not to mention the surprise additions that will be revealed later.
 
I came here to post this. I already have Amnesia and Psychonauts, but I'll get this just for Bastion. This is a great deal.

P.S. Limbo is $3.99 on Steam Midweek Madness. :awe:

EDIT: In for two, got one for my brother.

I bought it even though I own everything but that Superbrothers game. I figured I'd just donate a greater portion of my money to charity than I normally would.

I clicked on this hoping Limbo was not in the bundle since I literally 1 minute ago just bought it off steam for $4, but then I saw that I have all the other games in the bundle except Superbrothers. Now I don't feel so bad. I win this round. Better luck next time, charity!

Hmmm . . . I just noticed that Psychonauts is listed as 2.7 GB on GOG (currently $10), but the Humble Bundle version is 4.1 GB.

Wonder what's up with that?

Readability, otherwise everything tends to merge with the Sig.
Spaces get deleted (try to special format a message), so I use a '.' as a place holder.

Previous versions of the Forums weren't as bad (like this for example).

I remedy this by shrinking the typeface in my signature. Helps distinguish between it and my actual post.

To stay on topic, here's a hilarious video of someone playing Amnesia and basically crapping their pants (NSFW language). Highly-recommended game.

Download size vs. actual installation size. The GOG version is a 2.7GB download, and the installer probably extracts it out to a full 4.1GB. Since Steam doesn't use an installer, the HIB/Steam version just directly downloads the full 4.1GB.

It also might be related to the HIB/Steam version being both Mac and Windows compatible, whereas GOG is Win only.

Not at all. I have all the other games and you have to beat the avg for Bastion. It seems some people are getting extra Bastion keys and either giving them away or trading, the latter of which I am interested in but maybe didn't make clear enough.
 
i bought like 5 yesterday (without bastion as i already had it)

great GREAT bundle

I hope all the bundles are like that. Instead of placing unknown (or shitty games) in a bundle next to a good one, making all good known indie games in a bundle.

Im sure this will sell soooo well and i hope it shows all the bundle makers how it has to be done, there are a lot of good indie games, those should be rewarded with somethign like this, not the shitty ones

They've made almost $2 million already and it hasn't even been a full day - must be a record for them, I don't remember what the last biggest deal netted them.

i cant access the website from work...its 2 million copies sold or 2 million dollars sold?

i think the latest bundles normally got into the 100k dollars and stop aroudn there

Psychonauts is garbage? i havent played it but everyone seems to love that game
its a dated game, but that is fine with me... instead of placing a shitty new indie game, place an oldie great indie game into the pack
