Looks like there's a new Humble Bundle. This time it stars Double Fine games.

Pay what you want:
Costume Quest
Psychonauts
Stacking

Beat the average (8.11 as of this post):
Brutal Legend

$35 or more:
Broken Age Preorder (AKA Double Fine Adventure)

$70 or more:
T-shirt

I love Double Fine and highly recommend this bundle.

Edit:
8 prototypes (Windows only):
Autonomous
Black Lake
Hack n' Slash
Spacebase DF-9
The White Birch
Costume Quest
Happy Song
Brazen

Documentary:
2PP Documentary about Amnesia Fortnight 2012

I've heard great things about Psychonauts, but what is Stacking like? Is it just a simple puzzle game?

stacking is a very weird game... you have levels in which you need to solve puzzles (situations), each situation has (if i remember correctly) 3 solutions, using 3 different "dolls"

so you basically are switching dolls and using them all the time.

i liked the game... is very unique in its own way

Is it just me or did they tease at the end of the email that they were going to add Fortnight and Amnesia to the bundle?

Ah, no they Amnesia Fortnight was the time off of programming Brutal Legend given to employees that produced Costume Quest and Stacking. It also produced Iron Brigade and Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster.

Holy crap, this just reminded me that I still have not redeemed my THQ humble bundle from November. I better get on that; don't even remember what games were in it. :hmm:

Very good deal, if you like the games.

Stacking is basically like an adventure with a unique mechanic of the dolls.

I feel stupid for preordering Brutal Legend and hardly playing it.

I've been thinking about getting their new Kickstarter game since I missed it at the cheaper ($25) price. For the current $35 price ,I would get the new game, some games I already have, and Brutal Legend (don't own). Not too bad. Is there any info I can check out to see what the new game is about? I know they have a lot of videos and stuff, but they're for buyers only.

Wait until next week, maybe they will add a few games to it to add to the value for you.

Costume Quest caught my eye last fall, but I never investigated much. I was interested in it for my 7 year old son. Anyone that's played it.....would a second grader like it? How about Psychonauts?

Thanks!

Been a while since I played Psychonauts but I think some of it would probably go over his head plus some of it might kind of creep him out. It's a great game but he'd probably enjoy it more in a couple years.

Costume Quest is right on though imo. Goofy humor, not particularly complex combat or puzzles and not really long either.

Plus the french fry costume is awesome :D

Pay the penny (or dollar for Steam) and get them. If your 7 year old doesn't like them then you play them :)

Anyways, I think so.

Yes, that's probably my approach (paying a buck). I want Brutal Legend for myself....so I'll end up with Costume and Psycho anyway, but I don't want my seven year old to have access to my Steam account, so I'll probably just get them separately for him on the cheap.

darkwaffle/gothamhunter - thanks for the input!
