Well a lot of people already own the games, and only want one of them out of the bundle, so pay for that game.

Also, the bundle is obviously financially good for the devs, or they wouldn't keep doing this publicity stunt 😛

Well yeah, obviously they're pulling a lot of money from doing this, or else they wouldn't be doing it in the first place. However, when people only pay $0.01 for it, the site is actually losing money. At PAX 2010 they talked about how people paying less than $1 were actually costing them money in fees.

My point is that they should set the minimum to $1 for all purchases. That way there wouldn't be any douchebags paying only a cent for it.

Well but it defeats the purpose. Plus they made a ton of money on the first one and this one I'm sure will make even more.

You are missing the point. It doesn't matter if they lose on some individual purchases. What matter's is the net profit, which is obviously good since they keep going at it.

If they had a minimum price, there might be issues (Tax) in regards to Charity donations.

Also, pretty much any sale of an item is better than no sale of an item.
I'm not really terribly interested in any of these games, but I went ahead and did it anyway.

I did the first Humble Bundle, skipped the second as it was Steam only (don't do Steam), and in for the third now as well.

I've been hoping to see "Cogs" in a bundle, it looks like it might be kind of interesting, though on the short side.

Second bundle wasn't Steam only. In fact, Steam keys weren't available until after the sale ended IIRC.

Hmmm, the links I got (email alerts) were all Steam related so I had that impression.

I already had the games in that bundle that I was interested in too, so it wasn't all that interesting too me.

I have them all already (except the two that aren't completed), but I am considering buying them again to get a DRM free version. Since I choose my own price, I'll have to take a look at what I think the extra two games are worth to me.

You're correct.

I picked it up as well. I already have Trine, but it doesn't hurt to send $10 to charity. If they give out steam codes I can give my extra copy away to a friend.
