Ok, I read the article about ravens being able to determine social status of other groups of ravens they aren't part of which was interesting but, I still have no idea what you're trying to say.

the ability to murder each other en mass with utmost efficiency is the hallmark of true intelligence. everyone knows this.

seriously though, I've always thought crows were fairly smart. sometimes I see them congregate and start this massive cawing session with this almost musical pattern. they annoy the heck out of me though by being obnoxiously loud. I wonder if can construct some kind of ultrasonic directional "sound beamer" to drive them away.
