Oliver Curry must be of the upper class if he thinks so.

If you look at our "upper class" these days, they modify themselves with plastic surgery to be more appealing to the opposite sex and their peers. The children of the upper class aren't necessarily very intelligent. They're becoming a "high maintenance" society and most definitely not genetically superior.

In many respects, the upper class and the lower class are mirrors of each other. The only difference is money.

The middle class will become isolated genetically. Hard workers, both street smart and school educated, the innovators, family people, those who enjoy taking vacations and reading books...

QFT, and also, you will find that predominantly successful people and there families score better. Most of that is nurture though.

But you cannot ignore genetic factors.

It's not about wealth. It's about genetically perfect people sticking to themselves and the inferior ones sticking to themselves. You'll have two subsets of the human race.

Like the movie "Twins". On one side you have Arnold Schwartznegger and on the other you have the leftover goo that is Danny Devito.

The author is saying that mate selection will eventually cause a schizm in overall genetics of humans. The smart and beautiful will be on one end and the dumb and ugly will be on the other.

Until the smart/beautiful decide that their tired of looking at the ugly/dumb and kill them off... Sounds like the beginnings of the next holocaust.
