Welp, i'm doing a paper debating the idea that our genetic code can be patented, and need some help finding sources.

I've found a lot on how those against the idea feel.. but nothing that goes much beyond that.

Anyone know any good medical references/journals search engines or something like that?

There was a lot of good discussion about this earlier this year on the YAHOO stock boards for Celera Genomics (CRA). Generally, you have to ascribe a function to the gene before a successful patent will be awarded. Just patenting raw data with no clue of what it does won't hold up in the long run.
