First, I want to say that I am absolutely impressed and very thankful to Yaggs for doing such a phenomenal job! MS and Hulu should cover their heads in shame. They should have provided this months ago!

Here is the phonomenal Hulu plug in for Windows Media Center:

It's beta only but already works quite well.
(And thanks to Google we are all used to beta software.)

Is there a reliable method to downloading Hulu content ? I honestly thought that these were shows that could be downloaded rather than streamed. I have VideoDownloader for Firefox, but it looks like I still need another plugin, Replay Media Catcher, to capture the stream. Is that worth the $30 they want for it ?

Thanks for posting this. I watch shows on hulu on my MCE box all the time and this would spare me the effort of opening a browser and using the mouse and keyboard. Nothing beats sitting on the couch with the remote.

They may. I had just started using Boxee this week. Found Zinc as an alternative during the fallout. It's actually a Firefox mod so it should look just like a browser to Hulu. But this whole scenario is stupid. They want Hulu to be popular, just not too popular.

I was going to try this until I saw that it doesn't work right with the 360.:(

I tried it out but it's funky. Videos don't actually load fullscreen. They load inside of a hulu window itself. Then when I click "fullscreen" in hulu (which requires me to get up and defeats the purpose of running the damn plugin) it doesn't even work. MCE balks and the thing won't go fullscreen. Annoying.

So I guess I'll just keep watching hulu vids with a mouse and keyboard the old fashioned way.

It's unfortunate. My suspicion is that we see an official Hulu plugin at some point.

You've probably seen this, but it might be worth a try if you haven't already.

Yeah, Hulu saw it too and now there's an ongoing battle so it's not sure to still work from what I've been reading.

Also, something like AutoHotkey and AutoClick can get around the broken auto-fullscreen in Zinc. Just set a hotkey to click the coordinates where the fullscreen button is on the page. It's one more button press on the remote but at least it bypasses the need for a mouse.
