huh? I cant run 3dMark03 test 4???

For some reason 3dmark wont allow me to run test 4 in the suite. It says not supported! But I have a Radeon 8500 on a CUBX with a Pentium III 1ghz processor!

For some reason Im getting zip on audio too, is it an audio test? I knew I was behind, but I thought the 8500 would at least allow me to run all the tests.....

test 4 requires directx9 hardware support i believe

...and a Radeon 8500 is only supports DirectX 8.

Try reinstalling your audio drivers. That fixed my problems with it.

You got directx 9 installed? It's a dx9 test and your video card doesn't use dx 9. The first sound test is no sound the second one is with sound.

Yup, can't run "Mother Nature" without a Radeon 9500/9700 or GeForceFX

Anyone know if the R9000 can do the test 4? As I flashed my 8500 to the 9100 bios and still no worky on test 4.

Nope, only the 9500+ (Things based on R300 core)

9100 is just the new name for the 8500 no dx9 support. Had to change it since its faster than the 9000

I was a little disappointed that my Geforce 4 Ti wouldn't run test 4 either. Are the Radeon 9500 and 9700 series are the only cards that will run that test?
