Huge zit starting to form

I just noticed my cheek is getting a little bump underneath. it's red and starting to swell up. I feel a big zit comin on... how do I stop it?

On a serious note, at night I usually harass the upcoming zit by trying to squeeze the living sh!t out of it. It really hurts and gets swollen. Usually the immediate following day, it turns into a white head and is easy to pop.

Only if it has reared its ugly head (<-- If that would be a sentence meaning 'showed' it's ugly head). Otherwise you'll just dry out a small piece of skin directly above the node.

I don't know if there's anything you CAN do that doesn't involve something like a needle.

back in the day when i was a teen, i used to dry them fukers out by applying alcohol. i kept applying the alcohol until it dried and then reapplied it a few times until the swelling went down. you'll need to put lotion on afterwards, but it usually prevents the rudolph the red nosed reigndeer(sp?) look.

Toothpaste will dry that part of the skin off. It could help the swell to subside a little. You can try that. Don't pop it. It will cause a scar or hole.

Drink lotsa water too. Could help clear the system a little.
