Huge turnout in Boston for Patriots Parade

Holy cow! The crowd is huge! There were 2mil people who showed up 2yrs ago, still an hour to go and from my window it looks like they'll easily exceed that.

On top of that there is virtually no police presence whatsoever. The crowd is so thick that people who are in the middle of it cannot move. Wild stuff.

Let me know if they're gonna yell "Yankees Suck" again. I thought that was the stupidest thing, when they did it last time. This time it's gonna be just pathetic.

They've been doin' it already. I know it makes no sense, but yelling "Giants suck!" just ain't the same.

They really need to offer some sort of entertainment or something. People have been standing out there for hours with nothing to do.

The police have finally showed up. I see them trying to eject people, but the crowd is so thick there's nothing they can do.

I can. I counted them all on my fingers. 1...2...3...(er, what comes after 3?)😛

Absolutely crazy out there.

Patriot pride in Boston,yes,yes,yes!!!

We are the champions my friends!!!! 😀😀😀

I think the crowd is going to riot. They've announced the Pats like 3 times over the past hour and they still haven't come out.

Ah, Gil Santos is a boob. He said "Just a little history lesson for you" and the crowd yelled a collective "NOOOOOO".

I'm sure its not far off. My friends are up there, but I had to work. They started drinking on the way up this morning. Which means they
were probably hours behind most of the crowd.

Yep I just got in from the parade, I was in city hall plaza, it was positively cramped, couldn't even turn in place. Police presence was nonexistant. Yeah, I was telling people to shut up when they would start that "Yankees Suck" chant, thats so old... it was funny the first thousand times...

Couldn't hear sh!t. They needed to turn the mics up... but Troy Brown heard me yelling for them to put Mike Vrabel on (I think... I yelled it, and he said "you want Mike Vrabel?" right after, coincidence?) so that was pretty cool.

All in all, it was worth it since I missed the one two years ago, but when we win next year I'll watch from home  😉

Let me just say that the player who said the Panthers didn't respect them (before, during, and after the game) is bullsh!t.

A local station showed the parade and when one of their reporters went into the crowd and started talking to anybody that looked like a College Fratboy they had to censor the idiots out because all the did was spew obcentities. These were the same knuckleheads that caused all the ruckus on Sunday night and when the Sox beat the A's. It's a shame that Boston gets the rep of an unruly city because of these assholes but what are you gonna do, Boston is a college town.

At least it wasn't as cold as it was two years ago, that was a bright spot for me anyway. Getting up at 4:00am sucked, but it was well worth it. Now, I'm gearing up for next October, when the Sox bring the World Series Trophy to City Hall.
